Choose your duvet warmth according to the season, your bedroom temperature and how warm you naturally sleep. Browse all duvets, compare our summer duvets and winter duvets, or use our UK duvet tog guide to find the most suitable rating.
Why we don't sell a fixed "all-seasons" combo duvet
Some retailers sell all-seasons duvets as two duvets permanently joined by poppers, combining to one fixed winter tog and separating to one fixed lighter tog. We've taken a different approach: rather than locking you into whichever two ratings a manufacturer happens to have paired together, we stock each tog rating as its own duvet, so you can choose precisely the warmth you want for each season rather than accepting a fixed combination.
Building your own seasonal setup
If you'd like the flexibility of changing your duvet with the seasons, choose two individual duvets from our range. Use a summer-weight 4.5 tog duvet during warmer months, then change to one of our warm duvets for colder bedrooms during winter. Store whichever duvet is not currently in use somewhere dry and breathable.
Not sure which ratings to choose?
As a general guide across the year:
- 4.5 tog duvets — lightweight warmth for summer nights, warmer bedrooms and hot sleepers
- 10.5 tog duvets — a practical year-round option for many centrally heated UK homes
- 13.5 tog duvets — standard winter warmth for colder bedrooms
- 15 tog duvets — maximum insulation for particularly cold rooms and sleepers
Many households find that separate 4.5 and 13.5 tog duvets provide comfortable coverage across warmer and colder months. The best combination depends on your bedroom temperature and personal warmth preference.
One duvet, if you'd rather not switch seasonally
If managing two separate duvets is not appealing, our year-round 10.5 tog duvets provide a practical middle-ground option. A 10.5 tog duvet sits between lightweight summer and heavier winter ratings and can work through much of the UK year, particularly in a centrally heated bedroom.
